Popular High School is located in Ward No 12 Comba, Salcete, Margao, Goa and was established 91 years ago. This school is a Co-educational and is located in Urban area. This is a Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X exams. The school is managed by Government Aided. It is situated in Margao Muncipality municipality. It is located in 31 Margao assembly constituency. The first mode of communication is Marathi in the school but English is also spoken during classes.

This school has around six hundred students studying and has 20 teachers to teach them, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 26 students per teacher. Eighteen teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest two are appointed on Contract basis. Six teachers are Male and remaining fourteen are Female. In terms of Academic qualification one teacher is Below Graduate, twelve are Graduate and rest seven are Post Graduate. Nineteen teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 24:1, means on an average twenty four students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 22 kids in pre primary, 158 students in class I to V, 189 students in class VI to VIII and 145 students in class IX to XII.
