Patkapara High School (High School) is located in Tapsikhata - I, Alipurduar-I, Alipurduar, West Bengal and was established in year 1981. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. The first mode of communication is Bengali in the school but English, Sanskrit and Hindi is also spoken during classes.

This institution has strength of around one thousand three hundred students being taught by around 26 teachers, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 49 students per teacher. Nineteen teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest seven are appointed on Contract basis. Nineteen teachers are Male and remaining seven are Female. In terms of Academic qualification fifteen teachers are Graduate and rest eleven are Post Graduate. One teacher is trained in Computer. There are 200 students in class I to V, 475 students in class VI to VIII and 595 students in class IX to XII.

The school is in a Govt. building and it has pucca but broken boundary walls. The school has total thirty two clasrooms and five other rooms. The school has twelve desktops, one printer and one generator in its premises. There is library for students. There are three boys toilets, three girls toilets and one cwsn toilet for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
