Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located in Tenughat, Petarwar, Bokaro, Jharkhand and was established in year 1996. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with CBSE Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. It is located in Gomia assembly constituency. The first mode of communication is Hindi in the school but English and Bengali is also spoken during classes.

This institution has around five hundred students studying being taught by around 17 teachers. The student-teacher ratio is 28 students per teacher. All of the teachers are appointed on Regular basis. Twelve teachers are Male and remaining five are Female. In terms of Academic qualification four teachers are Graduate and rest thirteen are Post Graduate. Eight teachers are trained in Computer. The school has forty four laptops, one hundred eight desktops, fifty tablets, two scanners, seven printers, two LEDs, three digiboards, four webcams and one generator in its premises. There is reading corner, library and book bank for students. There are eight boys toilets, six girls toilets and three cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
