Ghilaguri High School

Ghilaguri High School is located in Rukang Grant, Ghilaguri, Niz Khaloighugura, Sonari, Assam and was established in year 1981. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. The school is situated in 105-Mahmora assembly constituency. The first mode of communication is Assamese in the school.

This school teaches around two hundred students who are taught by 20 teachers, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 9 students per teacher. Seventeen teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest three are appointed on Contract basis. Twelve teachers are Male and remaining eight are Female. In terms of Academic qualification nine teachers are Below Graduate, nine are Graduate and rest two are Post Graduate. Two teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 20:1, means on an average twenty students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 17 kids in pre primary, 48 students in class I to V, 60 students in class VI to VIII and 59 students in class IX to XII.
