G.Upper Primary School Manassery is located in West Manassery, Mukkam, Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode, Kerala. Established in year 1908, the school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Upper Primary school and is currently operational. The school is managed by Department of Education. The school is situated in Thiruvampady assembly constituency. This is primarily Malyalam medium school but English is also spoken during classes.

The institution has around one thousand two hundred students studying being taught by around 32 teachers, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 37 students per teacher. 29 teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest three are appointed on Contract basis. Nine teachers are Male and remaining 23 are Female. In terms of Academic qualification fifteen teachers are Below Graduate, eleven are Graduate and rest six are Post Graduate. Two teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 38:1, means on an average thirty eight students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 119 kids in pre primary, 774 students in class I to V and 289 students in class VI to VIII.

The school has twenty two laptops, four desktops, one scanner, two printers and one webcam in its premises. There is reading corner, library and book bank for students. There are eight boys toilets, fifteen girls toilets and two cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
