Vaccination for Children

Children between age of 12 years to 17 years are now eligible to get their Covid vaccination. They can choose between any of the three available vaccines: Covovax, Corbevax and Covaxin. If they take Covovax, the gap between two doses should be 21 days. For Corbevax this gap between both doses is 28 days. If they take Covaxin, then the gap between both doses should be 4 to 6 weeks.

Precaution Dose for adults

Every 18+ year old person who has already taken both doses of Covid vaccine can take precaution dose. Senior citizens of 60+ years can get this Precaution dose for free at any Govt. vaccination centre. But adults with age less than 60 years have to take Precaution dose at any Private vaccine centre and have to pay for their vaccine. The price may vary from one centre to another but Govt. has fixed maximum price for all vaccines (Covishield - Rs.386.25, Covaxin - Rs.386.25, Covovax - Rs.386.25, Sputnik V - Rs.1145, Corbevax - Rs.400).

Vaccination Certificate

If you are fully vaccinated then you should keep a digital copy of your vaccination certificate with yourself, especially while travelling to another place. Many places have this policy of allowing only fully vaccinated people only. So it's advisable to carry your certificate while travelling.
