Uri

Uri is a town in Baramulla district of Jammu & Kashmir and serves as Nagar Parishad. It is also a Block, Tehsil and Block Development Council of Baramulla district.

As on May 2024, the current population of Uri is 10.5 thousands out of which 7.5 thousands are males and rest 3 thousands are females. The sex ratio of this town is 403 females per 1000 males. There are around 879 teenagers in Uri. It has literacy rate of 80% which means around 8.4 thousands persons can read and write.
