Talliguri High School

Talliguri High School is located in Dawaguri / VIII, Cooch Behar-I, Cooch Behar, West Bengal and was established in year 1969. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. The first mode of communication is Bengali in the school but English is also spoken during classes.

This institution has strength of around six hundred students who are taught by 21 teachers, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 24 students per teacher. Nineteen teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest two are appointed on Contract basis. Fourteen teachers are Male and remaining seven are Female. In terms of Academic qualification thirteen teachers are Graduate and rest eight are Post Graduate. None of the teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 26:1, means on an average twenty six students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 47 students in class I to V, 186 students in class VI to VIII and 268 students in class IX to XII.

The school is in a Govt. building and it has pucca boundary walls. The school has total nineteen clasrooms and nineteen other rooms. The school has internet facility for students. There is library for students. There are one boys toilet, two girls toilets and three cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
