Shri. Saraswati High School

Shri. Saraswati High School is located in St. Estevam, Tiswadi, Goa and was established in year 1995. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X exams. The school is managed by Government Aided. The school is situated in Cumbharjua assembly constituency. The medium of instructions is English in the school but Marathi is also spoken during classes.

This institution teaches around three hundred students who are taught by 13 teachers, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 20 students per teacher. All of the teachers are appointed on Regular basis. Seven teachers are Male and remaining six are Female. In terms of Academic qualification one teacher is Below Graduate, eight are Graduate and rest four are Post Graduate. Eleven teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 26:1, means on an average twenty six students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 91 students in class I to V, 99 students in class VI to VIII and 70 students in class IX to XII.

The school is in a rented building and it has no boundary walls. The school has total ten clasrooms and seven other rooms. The school has both internet facility and DTH facility for students. The school has one laptop, fifteen desktops, two scanners, one printer and three generators in its premises. There is library for students. There are two boys toilets and six girls toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
