Rajhat High School

Rajhat High School is located in Rajhat-IX, Polba-Dadpur, Chinsurah, West Bengal. Established in year 1949, the school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. This is primarily Bengali medium school.

The school has strength of around eight hundred students and has 22 teachers to teach them, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 35 students per teacher. Twenty teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest two are appointed on Contract basis. Twelve teachers are Male and remaining ten are Female. In terms of Academic qualification eight teachers are Graduate and rest fourteen are Post Graduate. None of the teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 37:1, means on an average thirty seven students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 105 students in class I to V, 264 students in class VI to VIII and 406 students in class IX to XII.

The school is in a Govt. building and it has other boundary walls. The school has total twenty one clasrooms and five other rooms. The school has internet facility for students. The school has one desktop, one scanner, one printer, one webcam and one generator in its premises. There is library for students. There are twelve boys toilets, eight girls toilets and two cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
