Narugram High School

Narugram High School is located in Narugram/VI, Raina-I, Bardhaman, West Bengal and was established years ago. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. The first mode of communication is Bengali in the school but English, Sanskrit and Santhali is also spoken during classes.

The school teaches around eight hundred students who are taught by 19 teachers, which makes the student-teacher ratio of 40 students per teacher. All of the teachers are appointed on Regular basis. Twelve teachers are Male and remaining seven are Female. In terms of Academic qualification six teachers are Graduate and rest thirteen are Post Graduate. Two teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 63:1, means on an average sixty three students sit in a classroom which is good. There are 106 students in class I to V, 268 students in class VI to VIII and 377 students in class IX to XII.

The school is in a Govt. building and it has pucca but broken boundary walls. The school has total twelve clasrooms and four other rooms. The school has internet facility for students. The school has one desktop, one scanner and one printer in its premises. There is library for students. There are one boys toilet, one girls toilet and two cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
