Longmang High School

Longmang High School is located in Longmang, Harangajao, Haflong, Assam and was established in year 1982. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Urban area. This is a Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. It is located in 016-Haflong (St) assembly constituency. The language used to teach students is English but Hindi is also spoken during classes.

The school teaches around one hundred students being taught by around 18 teachers, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 5 students per teacher. Fifteen teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest three are appointed on Contract basis. Six teachers are Male and remaining twelve are Female. In terms of Academic qualification two teachers are Below Graduate, eleven are Graduate and rest five are Post Graduate. One teacher is trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 17:1, means on an average seventeen students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 34 students in class VI to VIII and 50 students in class IX to XII.

The school is in a Govt. building and it has pucca boundary walls. The school has total five clasrooms and five other rooms. The school has internet facility for students. The school has two desktops, one scanner, one printer, one webcam and one generator in its premises. There is both reading corner and library for students. There are one boys toilet and one girls toilet for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
