Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Saltlake is located in Ward No.40, Bidhan Nagar Municipal Corporation, Barasat, West Bengal and was established 45 years ago. This school is a Co-educational and is located in Urban area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with CBSE Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Kendriya Vidyalaya. The medium of instructions is English in the school but Hindi is also spoken during classes.
