Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located in Sarengabad -XX, Canning - 2, Alipore, West Bengal. Established 12 years ago, this school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with CBSE Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. This is primarily English medium school but Bengali and Hindi is also spoken during classes.

This institution has enrolled around six hundred students who are taught by 12 teachers, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 46 students per teacher. There are eight boys toilets, eight girls toilets and two cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
