Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located in Itamogra - II / XI, Mahisadal, Tamluk, West Bengal and was established in year 2005. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with CBSE Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. The language used to teach students is English but Hindi is also spoken during classes.

The institution has strength of around five hundred students who are taught by 18 teachers, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 27 students per teacher. All of the teachers are appointed on Regular basis. Fifteen teachers are Male and remaining three are Female. In terms of Academic qualification five teachers are Graduate and rest thirteen are Post Graduate. Seventeen teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 37:1, means on an average thirty seven students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 199 students in class VI to VIII and 286 students in class IX to XII.

The school is in a Govt. building and it has pucca boundary walls. The school has total thirteen clasrooms and eleven other rooms. The school has both internet facility and DTH facility for students. The school has forty one laptops, fifteen desktops, forty tablets, four scanners, six printers, two LEDs, one digiboard, one webcam and one generator in its premises. There is both reading corner and library for students. There are six boys toilets, six girls toilets and two cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
