Harua High School

Harua High School is located in Chilladangi-VIII, Pursurah, Chinsurah, West Bengal. Established in year 1972, the school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. This is primarily Bengali medium school.

The institution teaches around four hundred students being taught by around 14 teachers, which makes the student-teacher ratio of 24 students per teacher. Twelve teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest two are appointed on Contract basis. Eight teachers are Male and remaining six are Female. In terms of Academic qualification eleven teachers are Graduate and rest three are Post Graduate. None of the teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 31:1, means on an average thirty one students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 71 students in class I to V, 152 students in class VI to VIII and 114 students in class IX to XII.

The school is in a Govt. building and it has pucca boundary walls. The school has total eleven clasrooms and six other rooms. The school has internet facility for students. The school has ten desktops, one scanner, one printer, one webcam and one generator in its premises. There is both reading corner and library for students. There are five boys toilets, four girls toilets and three cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
