C.M.O. High School is located in Ward-44, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Kolkata, West Bengal and was established in year 1952. The school is a Boys and is located in Urban area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. This is primarily Urdu medium school but English is also spoken during classes.

This school teaches around seven hundred students being taught by around 14 teachers, thus making the student-teacher ratio of 44 students per teacher. All of the teachers are appointed on Regular basis. Ten teachers are Male and remaining four are Female. In terms of Academic qualification four teachers are Graduate and rest ten are Post Graduate. Two teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 31:1, means on an average thirty one students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 3 students in class I to V, 123 students in class VI to VIII and 489 students in class IX to XII.

The school has seven desktops, two scanners, four printers, seven LEDs, one webcam and one generator in its premises. There is reading corner, library and book bank for students. There are ten boys toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
