Bengai High School

Bengai High School is located in Raghubati-IX, Goghat-I, Chinsurah, West Bengal. Established 92 years ago, this school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. This is primarily Bengali medium school but English, Sanskrit and Santhali is also spoken during classes.

The school has strength of around eight hundred students and has recruited total 24 teachers, which makes the student-teacher ratio of 31 students per teacher. 21 teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest three are appointed on Contract basis. Nineteen teachers are Male and remaining five are Female. In terms of Academic qualification nine teachers are Graduate and rest fifteen are Post Graduate. None of the teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 37:1, means on an average thirty seven students sit in a classroom which is very good. There are 40 students in class I to V, 122 students in class VI to VIII and 573 students in class IX to XII.

The school is in a Govt. building and it has no boundary walls. The school has total twenty clasrooms. The school has internet facility for students. The school has one desktop and one generator in its premises. There is both library and book bank for students. There are four boys toilets and one girls toilet for students.
