Alijhara High School

Alijhara High School is located in Jamtora/II, Chhatna, Bankura, West Bengal and was established in year 1960. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Rural area. This is a Higher Secondary school and is currently operational. It's affiliated with State Board for class-X & class-XII exams. The school is managed by Department of Education. This is primarily Bengali medium school but English, Santhali and Sanskrit is also spoken during classes.

The school has enrolled around eight hundred students who are taught by 19 teachers. The student-teacher ratio is 38 students per teacher. There are 62 students in class I to V, 126 students in class VI to VIII and 537 students in class IX to XII.

The school has one laptop, eleven desktops, one scanner, one printer and one generator in its premises. There is library for students. There are two boys toilets, two girls toilets and two cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
