Al-Hidayah International Islamic School

Al-Hidayah International Islamic School is located in Ward-3, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Kolkata, West Bengal and was established in year 2002. The school is a Co-educational and is located in Urban area. This is a Upper Primary school and is currently operational. The school is managed by Private Unaided (Recognized). The language used to teach students is English but Bengali, Hindi and Urdu is also spoken during classes.

This school teaches around six hundred students who are taught by 20 teachers. The school has student-teacher ratio of 26 students per teacher. Seventeen teachers are appointed on Regular basis and rest three are appointed on Part-time basis. Seven teachers are Male and remaining thirteen are Female. In terms of Academic qualification four teachers are Below Graduate, fifteen are Graduate and rest one is Post Graduate. Eighteen teachers are trained in Computer. The student classroom ratio is 40:1, means on an average forty students sit in a classroom which is good. There are 189 kids in pre primary, 204 students in class I to V and 131 students in class VI to VIII.

The school is in a rented building and it has pucca boundary walls. The school has total thirteen clasrooms and one other room. The school has internet facility for students. The school has one laptop, four desktops, one scanner, one printer and one LED in its premises. There is reading corner, library and book bank for students. There are two boys toilets, two girls toilets and two cwsn toilets for students. The school has both hand wash facility and drinking water facility for people.
