Begar is a village located in the Sringeri Taluk of Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka. The village falls in Sringeri block and comes under Begaru Gram Panchayat. It belongs to Udupi Chikkamagaluru parliament constituency and Sringeri assembly constituency.
